Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information MyCircle collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We built MyCircle for small, trusted circles — your data is not meant for public display.
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Who we are
MyCircle (“we”, “us”, “the service”) is a private community directory product. If you use MyCircle, you are either a circle member or someone invited to join a circle by a host you trust.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use MyCircle, we may process:
- Account information — email address, name, and profile photo when you sign in (for example via Google)
- Circle membership — which circles you belong to and your role (such as host or member)
- Member profile in each circle — full name, blood group, city, profession, and phone number that you choose to add
- Circle details — circle name, description, visibility (public or private), and invite codes created by hosts
- Technical data — basic logs needed to run the service securely (such as sign-in events and error logs)
How we use information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Let you join circles and display your profile to other members of those circles
- Let members search circle directories (for example by city, profession, or blood group)
- Generate invite links and codes for circle hosts
- Keep the service secure, reliable, and improving
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your circle contact details for advertising.
Who can see your information
- Within a circle — members of the same circle can see the member profiles in that circle, including phone numbers
- Public circles — circle name, description, and member count may appear in search results for signed-in users; member contact details are still only visible inside the circle
- Private circles — visible only to members; others need an invite link or code to join
- Circle hosts — hosts manage invites and membership for circles they created; they do not automatically receive extra access beyond normal membership visibility
Do not join a circle unless you trust its members. By adding a profile, you agree that members of that circle may use your contact details to reach you in good faith.
Sign-in and service providers
MyCircle uses third-party services to operate, including authentication and database hosting (such as Supabase and Google Sign-In). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices. We choose providers that support secure handling of account and application data.
How long we keep data
We keep your account and circle data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you delete your profile in a circle, that circle-specific profile is removed. If you need your account deleted entirely, contact us using the details on the About page and we will process the request within a reasonable time.
Your choices
- Update or remove your member profile within any circle you belong to
- Leave a circle by asking the host or removing your membership when that option is available
- Sign out at any time from your account menu
- Request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us
Children
MyCircle is intended for users who can consent to sharing contact information in a trusted group. If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate consent, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, including authenticated access to the application. No online service is perfectly secure; please use strong account security on your sign-in provider and only share invite links with people you trust.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of MyCircle after changes means you accept the updated policy.
